Parowan, Salt Lake Women Plan Organ-Piano Recital On Friday evening, July 18 at 8 o'clock in the Parowan Third ward chapel, Mrs. John Cross of this city, and her sister, Mrs. Jeannette I. Gherke of Salt Lake City, will present an organ and piano recital. The program to be given will include music ranging from semi-classical to sacred selections, and will include in-clude both organ and piano solos so-los as well as duets featuring both participants. Mrs. Cross has been prominent promin-ent In musical activities In the Parowan Third ward and the community since coming to Parowan, Par-owan, and her sister is a very accomplished pianist. They are putting on the concert under the sponsorship of the entertainment division of the Ward and Stake Building committee, and all proceeds pro-ceeds from the affair will go into in-to the building fund., Tickets are being sold In each ward of the stake, it Is announced an-nounced by W. Clair Rowley, Parowan stake president with the proceeds from ticket sales by the wards to be credited to their share of the fund. Everyone is in vited and urged to attend.
