Show Invitations Extended For Annual Beryl Valley Tour Invitations have been sent to people throughout the state to attend the. annual Escalante Valley Farm Tour on Thursday, July 31, according to Stephen L. Brower, Iron County agricultural agent. The purpose of the tour, Mr. Brower says, is to acquaint peo- . pie of the state with the newest agricultural . development in Utah. He points out that the visitors vis-itors "will see the desert in blossom blos-som as the result of pump-well irrigation." He states that the ' desert soil is producing excellent crops and visitors will be interested inter-ested in seeing pump-well irrigation, irri-gation, sprinkling systems, windbreak wind-break tree planting, and many . other efforts of a pioneer devel-opement devel-opement which has sprung up opment which has spring up years. Details of the tour are being formulated and the information informa-tion will be released in the near future. The tour will start at 10 a. m., and luncheon will be served following the tour. ! |
