Show Range Development Tour Slated For Iron County County agent Stephen Brower announces that a special range development tour will be conducted con-ducted in Iron county on Julv 13. sponsored by the L'SAC extension service, the Branch Agricultural Agricultur-al college, the county agent, Bureau Bu-reau of Land Management and Soil Conservation service. All livestock men and anyone Interested Inter-ested in range management problems are invited to participate. parti-cipate. The tour will start at Summit Sum-mit at 9 a. m., and the first project pro-ject visited will be an experimental experi-mental range reseeding program west of Summit being conducted under the direction of Max Ro-bison Ro-bison of the Branch Agricultural Agricultur-al college range management staff. Following this the group will visit a range grass seed plot near Enoch, that has been seeded seed-ed by airplane and has proven very successful. The remainder of the forenoon will be spent at the BAC farm, where range grass seedings will be studied. In the aftednoon the visitors will go to the BAC ranch, to study stu-dy the mountain grass nursery, ami other range management and reseeding experiments. |
