Show Club Notes By Mrs. Ralph Box The Summer Reading Club met Thursday at the home of Mrs. Arthur C. Brown assisted by Mrs. Albert Albertson as co-hostess. Mrs. D. C. Dix ably reviewed the book "Cocktail Party" by T. S. Elliot for the following members: mem-bers: Mrs. Thomas Little, Mrs. J. M. Berry, Mrs. Jennie Perry, Mrs. Kimball Jenson, Mrs. B. Glen Kenney, Mrs. Floyd Eyman, Mrs. Piatt E. Watson, Mrs. Myron Higbee, Mrs. Kumen Jones, Mrs. Alfred Stuckl, Mrs. O. Anderson. Mrs. Frank Thorley, Mrs. E. M. Corry, Mrs. D. L. Sargent, Mrs. Erastus Macfarlane, Mrs. Harry Thorley, Mrs. Wlllard Jones, Mrs. Roice Nelson, Mrs. George Croft, Mrs. Herbert Haight. Mrs. Samuel Leigh, and Mrs. William Merryweather. Mrs. R. L. Durrant, assisted by Mrs. Lavand Bauer, was hostess to the Round Table club members mem-bers Friday afternoon. Mrs. W. H. Irfigh gave the life history of her father, William Shanks Ber-ry. Ber-ry. Mrs. G. L. Janson reviewed the life of Lovinna S. Berry, wife of William S. Berry. Mrs. Berry si ill resides at Hurricane and has just celebrated her ninty-seventh birthday. The Twinkler's club met at the home of Mrs. H. M. Endsley Monday Mon-day evening. A delightful lunch was served to the members and plans were made for the "Pot Luck" social to be held July 19, at the Presbyterian church. Mrs. G. D. MacDonald was hostess Monday evening at her home for her bridge club. Mrs. Fred N. Boynton was guest of the club members. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. John Row-berry, Row-berry, Richard Leigh and Mrs. Robert Gardner. Ladies of the Tuesday night bridge club met at the home of Miss Ethel Smith. Places were set for Mrs. Zealand Murdock, Mrs. Smith Stapley, Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith, Mrs. Carl Hazel, Mrs. Arthur Burnham, Mrs. Wayne Jackson, and Mrs. Sam Gentry. Birthday gifts were presented to Mrs. Arrowsmith and Miss Smith. Mrs. C. M. Ahlstrom was hostess hos-tess Wednesday evening at the Silver Leaf Inn for a group of ladies at lunch and bridge.
