Show Warren Bulloch Delegate to Elks Convention Warren H. Bulloch, exalted ruler of the Cedar City Elks lodge, and Mrs. Bulloch will leave this week by plane for Chicago, Chi-cago, where Mr. Bulloch will attend at-tend the 87th Grand Lodge convention con-vention of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, July 1 to 5, as a delegate from the local lodge. Over 50,000 delegates and visitors vis-itors are expected in Chicago to attend this convention. Elks from the 48 states and such far-away places as Hawaii, Porto Rico, Alaska, Guam and the Canal Zone will be on hand. The local delegate will attend a series of meetings of the Grand Lodge in the Stevens hotel, which Includes the election of the new Grand Lodge officers. In addition, Elks lodges from all over America will participate in numerous events including trap and skeet shooting, band and instrumental in-strumental contests, drill team contests, and glee club and barber bar-ber shop quartet song fests. George F. Thornton, general Chairman of the 1951 Convention committee, announced that among other special events planned for the visiting Elks in Chicago are an Elks Nirjht at the Whie Sox Comlsky park, Elks Day at world-famous Arlington Park race track, and a special tea and fashion show for Elks' wives at Marshall Field & Co. |
