Show FIRE DOES S2000 DAMAGE An estimated loss of $2,000 was suffered by the Southern Utah Auto Salvage on U. S. 91, Just south of the Cedar City limits, li-mits, when a fire broke out in two buildings in the salvage! yard Wednesday. The buildings had been burning burn-ing for some time before the alarm was turned in at 1 p. m. and both of the buildings were a total loss. Damage to the buildings build-ings was estimated at $1500 and $500 to auto parts, according to Ralph Hanzon, fire chief. Fighting the fire was complicated compli-cated by the fact that the business bus-iness is located outside the city limits and the nearest fire hydrant hy-drant was half a mile away. |
