Show B. A. C. Graduates Married at LDS Institute Rites The Cedar LDS Institute was the scene of a wedding ceremony Sunday. December 26, at high noon, uniting In matrimony Miss Utahna Johnson of Holden. Utah and Gary E. Jones of Cedar City. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Leo Larson of the Cedar Fourth ward in the presence of members of the immediate families fam-ilies and close friends. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Johnson of Holden and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton L. Jones. Both are graduates of the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college and are now students of the Brigham Young . I U t . .A ... 1 ft . t IhAttA The ceremony was performed on the Silver Wedding anniversary anniver-sary of the groom's parents. Miss Pearl Johnson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were the Misses Marilyn Mathls and Maureen Prince. Flower girls were Jerry Johnson and Patricia Jones, sisters sis-ters of the bride and groom. Best man was Carl Croft. Following the ceremony the couple were honored at a buffet luncheon at the home of the groom's parents,' after which they left on a honeymoon trip In Arizona. Upon their return, they will be honored at a retention re-tention at Holden. nfter which they will return to Provo to con- , tlnue their studies. The groom is a veteran of World War II having served with the Army for about three years, spending part of the time in the Aleutian Islands. |
