Show Lunt-Heywood Co. to Entertain Farm Families January 5 The Lunt-Heywood company of Cedar City, local John Deere dealer, will entertain farmers and their families of this area at a luncheon and show to be held Wednesday, January 5. Guests of the company will be entertained at luncheon at the Lunt-Heywood show rooms at 33 South Main street, after which they will be guests at an entertaining enter-taining feature picture at the Parks theatre, beginning at 2:00 p. m. The picture will be "The Sugar Bowl Tree", starring BUlle Burke and Don Wilson, and headlines the free John Deere Day entertainment and educational educa-tional program for farmers and their families. "The Sugar Plum Tree' is a rollicking comedy about two voune Deonle who have never been on a farm, and what they do when thely receive one as a gift. Other features of the show will Include "Big Operations in the Wheat Country", a 'round the season picture on modern equipment equip-ment and practices in the big ernin-erowinp sections: "Built In the West for the West", a picture on the specialized western equipment equip-ment built in John Deere's West-coast West-coast factories, and "Guardians of the Harvest", a full-color picture pic-ture of combines In action, and a number of other equally entertaining en-tertaining shorts. According to Jim Heywood, Lunt-Heywood company manager, manag-er, admission to the John Deere Day program is by ticket only. Any farmer who has not received his tickets or needs more can get them free at the Lunt-Heywood company before the day of the show. |
