Show American Legion Honors Departing Service Men The Cedar Post of the American Legion honored the Iron county men who left Cedar City Tuesday under un-der the selective service act, at a breakfast at the Escalante hotel The principal problem to be dls-hearts, dls-hearts, together with a small group of interested townspepole were presented, pre-sented, to enjoy a delightful farewell program. Talka were given by Post Commander Ellas Leigh, Samuel F Leigh and Wm. H. Manning. Two musical numbers and a song and dance number, were furnished by girls from the Cedar City high school The American Legion has been holding these breakfasts each month honoring the boys who have been leaving for military duty, and will continue to do so, according to tne Post Officers. They Invite everyone to attend and urge every patriotic citizen to turn out and pay their respects to the boys who are called upon to offer their time and service, ser-vice, and perhaps even their lives for the preservation of our country. |
