Democrats Elect Leonard Smith County Chairman Delegates of the Democratic Party Par-ty at the annual county convention held In Parowan Saturday, elected Leonard Smith as Chairman of the Democratic County Committee. Mr. Smith, an employee of the State Liquor Control Commission, In charge of the local liquor store, suc-ceededs suc-ceededs Ernest W. Macfarlane. Mrs. Zona Topham of Parowan was elected vice-chairman, with Mrs, Lillian Anderson of Cedar City, secretary, se-cretary, and Watson Adums, of Cedar Ce-dar City, as treasurer. The Republican County Convention Conven-tion Is being hld in Parowan today, to-day, at which the county committee commit-tee will be re-organized and delegates dele-gates to the state convention will be elected.
