Show Nutrition Council Increases Activities The Cedar City Nutrition Council InuvuM'd their activities this week to help carry out the national program pro-gram to help get information tto the public on good nutritional practices Dining the week school children received a colored chart entitled "A Guide to Good Eating," and the Relief Societies and other church organiaatloiui will take to leach home a similar chart and a chait containing a pledge for good nutrition nu-trition for victory. The radio program pro-gram of the Nutrition Council was also started tills week. The charts which will be taken to homes can be hung up for convenient con-venient reference so that meal planning plan-ning can be patterned after the established dally requirements as recognized by nutritionists and medical authorities. Where there were more than one child in a family hi the schools, charts were given only to the younger young-er child, Just as a means of providing pro-viding enough charts for each family, fam-ily, and not because older cliildren have outgrown the dally food requirements. re-quirements. The nutrition council feels that every effort should be made to have each child hi the home conscious of good food, or good nutrition, so that they will make an effort to eat some of all foods, insuring an adequate supply sup-ply of all food elements.
