Show County Agent Addresses Rotarians The speaker at the Rotary club meeting Tuesday was County Agent L. E. Tueller, who discussed government govern-ment parity on agricultural products pro-ducts and the problems facing the farmers of the nation in producing the increased amount of food needed need-ed as the result of the war. In order or-der to produce enough food for our armed forces and local population, and an added amount for the British Brit-ish and other allies, it will require an Increase of from 10 to 12 percent per-cent production of grains, beets for sugar, poultry, pork, beef and lamb. Following his talk a round table discussion was held on the question of regimentation of the farmers of America. An appropriation for expenses of delegates to the district convention of Rotary, was approved. Reid Gardner, Gard-ner, Paul Ward and Rotee Nelson will represent the club at the convention con-vention which Is to be held at Pocatello, Idaho, on May 11th. |
