Show High School Dance Review Pleases Capacity Crowd A capacity crowd enjoyed the annual an-nual high school dance review presented pre-sented Friday night under the direction dir-ection of Miss Leora Petty, girls physical education instructor, with approximately 150 students participating partici-pating in thirty dance numbers, and several vocal numbers. Emphasizing tlie theme "America For Me," the review traced the history of the country tthrough daace numbers depleting the changing chang-ing trends from the first settlement settle-ment of the country to the present time. Swinging into the present day events as the review advanced, patriotic thoughts were emphasized, until the performance was closed with a pledge of allegiance to the flag by the students an dspectators. A military dance and a drum roll, a victory dance, and a tableau of Uncle Sam and the Goddess of Liberty Lib-erty proceeded the allegiance pledge. Tlie review featured a wide variety var-iety of dances, each well done, with appropriate and beautiful costumes adding to the effectiveness of each number. Tlie significance of each dance was explained by Miss Carmen Leigh, narrator for the occasion. |
