Show NEW HARMONY A number of our men folks went to Hurricane Monday to register under the selective service. Gordon, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Puce, was o)eratcd on Sunday for appendicitis at the Iron County hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dcbolce of Ploche were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathla. Gottlieb Schmutz has been taken to the St. George Hospital where lie will receive medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Clark B. Puce have gone to Ogden on a vucation trip. While there they will visit with Mr. Pace's sisters, Mrs. S. A. Mac-farlane Mac-farlane and Mrs Glen B. Olsen. A number of our people attended attend-ed the funeral of Theodore W. Dill in St. George Wednesday. Mrs. Anna Bell Rancher and Mrs. Beth Schmutz of St. George spent the week end here visiting friends. Mrs. Lulu W. Mathls lias returned return-ed home from northern Utah where she has been visiting for the past ten days. Mr. and Mrs. George F. Prin.:e are in St. George visiting their daughter, Mrs. Theodore W. Dill. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Hall had two sons and families from Cedar City, a son and family from Ploche, visit with them Sunday. Very KeLsey has received the new contract for driving the mail between be-tween New Harmony and Kanam for the next four years. Mr. and Mrs. Handle Lunt of Cedar Ce-dar City have moved into the home of Independence Taylor. |
