Show Polling Places Announced For Quota Referendum Plans for conducting the nationwide nation-wide 1942 wheat marketing quota referendum in Iron County May 2 were announced as complete this week by J. M. Palmer, chairman of the county AAA committee. Polling places, operated by "referendum "ref-erendum committees," will be set up in the assembly room of the Post Office Building In Cedar City, for:. Cedar City, Enoch, MldValley, Kanarra, Newcastle. Modena, Beryl, Wells, Lund, and Summit. In the Court House in Parowan for: Par-owan, Par-owan, Paragonah and Summit. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and an unofficial count of ballots will be made following the close of the polls. Any eligible voterone who Is lr-tetrested lr-tetrested in a farm on which 15 for harvest in 1942 and the normal' production on the acreage is 200 bushels or morewho does not expect ex-pect to be in the county where his farm is located on May 2 may ob-ain ob-ain a ballot from the nearest AAA Office and mail to his home county. It will be counted if it arrives on or before May 2. |
