Show Kotarians Learn About Value of Proper Nutrition Miss Nancy Finch, home economist econ-omist of the Utah Power and Llht company of Salt Lake City, who is ln Cedar City this week to conduct con-duct a conference on war foods, was the guest speaker at the regular re-gular weekly meeting of the Cedar City Rotary Club Tuesday. Miss Finch gave a very interesting inter-esting discussion on nutrition, emphasizing em-phasizing her talk by the use of various illusrtrated charts. C. L. Ewlng made a brief report on the financing of the new hangar at the airport, explaining that the local civic clubs had been called upon to contribute to the project ana asuing that the Rotary Club appropriate funds for this purpose. It was decided to Investigate the matter furrier and a report will be made at the next meeting. I D C. Dlx also addressed the' Rotariana briefly on the Importance I of the Fourth War Loan drive and urged the members to back It one' hundred percent. I Special guests at the luncheon' Included Miss Finch, Miss Bena ' Johnson of the American Red Cross, I Hubert C. Lambert of the State Engineer's office, and Milton Jolley of the U. S. Navy. Monday's program was under the direction of the Community Service committee of the Rotary with lanthus Wright ln charge. |
