Show Cedar Jaycees Sponsor Student Essay Contest As part of its observance of Americanism Week, which falls between be-tween February 12 and 22, the Cedar Ce-dar City Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce is offering two war bonds for the best essays written by Junior Jun-ior and senior high school students on the National Jaycee American. Ism slogan, "Americanism It's Worth Fighting For," lt was announced an-nounced today All students" of the Cedar City junior and senior high schools are eligible to participate in the con. test, and considerable interest is now being shown at both schools. A $25 War Bond will be given for the best essay written by a student of the senior high school, and a similar bond will be given for the best essay written by a student of the Junior high school. All essays must be In the hands of the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce committee by Monday, February Fe-bruary 14, and the announcement of the winners will be published In the February 17 Issue of the Record.
