Show B. A.. College News. The agricultural students organized or-ganized a club last week with Earl Clark, president, Trehorne Leigh, vice-president, Ray Lyrnan, secretary and treasurer, and Hyrum Jones, librarian. The faculty have decided to give a chapel period every other Tuesday to be conducted by the students. This will be of great benefit to the students who will take part in these chapels. There will be a triangular debate de-bate between the St. George Academy, the Murdock Academy Acad-emy and the B. A. C. here sometime in February. The subject sub-ject will be the Tariff question. The Sophmore class dance, which was given Friday night, was a great success. The Auditorium was decorated with evergreens. Cider and doughnuts dough-nuts were served. Besides the regular dancing, the members of the Sophmore class introduced j a new dance called the "Buffalo i Glide," which was very pretty. Wo were very ' pleased to see so many now students at our school Monday, who came to attend at-tend the winter course. Soveral meetings were held to arrange tho course for these now students. stu-dents. The city council has appointed ap-pointed the following officers and committee, who will assist in governing the school: Stewart Thorley, City attorney. Rulon Dalley, Clerk of Committee. Willard Sargent, Delia Bulloch, and Liz Hamblin. Board of Health. Maesar Dalley, Alta Hamblin, Irene Mackelprang, Tom Shaw, Jim Cooper. Hortenso Woodbury, Wood-bury, and James Esplin, Board of Public works. Walter Lunt, Chief of Police. Dean Marsden, Eugene Woodbury, Vera Pace, Carl Topham, Thelma Knell, Lester Thorley, Eula Barton, Gordon Hunter, Dolph Church, and Stella Jones, assistant policemen. Stanley Parry yell master. A game of basket ball will be played the night before Thanksgiving Thanks-giving between the first team of the B. A. C. and tho old star basket ball men in our town, It is sure to be a very interesting event. |
