Show TO ROLL THE 11 ROAD TO LUND I H J. A. Kopp, Practical Machinist iH and Engineer, is Getting jH ' Machine Ready jfl Yesterday afternoon the coun- J H ty road roller, which has been tH standing at Hamilton's Fort for H several weeks past, rolled, into jH town under the manipulation of H J. A. Kopp, Cedar's expert en- 'H gineer and machinist. The en- ' gine is undergoing needed re- H pairs preparatory to being taken 'I out on the Lund road. . H This is a piece of work that is H badly needed to make the new jH grade, now completed as far as ' H Iron Springs, fit for travel. The M grade has been nicely harrowed ' H and dragged, but is too soft for H travel. The road roller wlli put H it in firs class conditon for f 1H travel by automobiles as well as 1H wagons. IH Mr. Kopp, who will engineer JH the machine, and who is now IH making needed repairs, is a loco- JH motive machinist of long train- 'JH ing, and thoroughly understands ;H steam engines. The county and IH state are fortunate' in obtaining IH his- services, as it insures not IH only that thev will get the maxi- 'IH mum amount of work done, but jH also that the engine and machin- iH ery will have the best of care. iH |
