Show PARK CITY. (Special Coi respe ndence.) Rev. Father Gilligan entertained at dinner Sunday in honor of Mrs. Thomas Kearns. Dr. and Mrs. Donoher entertained Thursday evening at a Thanksgiving dinner. A delicious menu was served. (The guests were:- Mrs. Root of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. John Geiger. the Misses Band G. Wilson and Messrs. Malia, Oulbertson and King. Mrs. Dan Sullivan visited at Salt Lake this week. Mr. P. H. Ryan it- visiting camp this week. Mrs. Thomas Kearns and family returned re-turned to Salt Lake Sunday. Mr. John Keetley paid the metropolis a business visit this week. Mrs. Thomas Cunningham is visiting al Salt Lake thin week. Mr. Dan Shields spent Wednesday in Salt Lake. Master John Galligan returned to All Hallows Sunday. Mr. John Fitzgerald spent a few days in the city last week. Mr. John Quinn is spending a few days here thie week. Mr. David C. Coleman is spending the week in the metropolis. On Thursday Mrs. S. J. Wilson gave a prettj- dinner in honor of Mrs. Thomas Kearns. The table and dining room were neatly decorated for the occasion." The guests were: Father Galligan, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Condon, Mrs. T. Galligan, Miss G. and Master L. Condon and Masters Tom and Edwin Ed-win and Miss Helen Kearns. . - j Mrs. John Bogan had a few pleasant i days' visit at Salt Lake last week. " Obituary. I Monday morning, after an illness of ten days. John McCarthy died at his home, on Main street, of pneumonia. Mr. McCarthy was 42 years of age and of Park City, having been in the Park for many years. He; was employed in the mines here up to six years ago, when he met with an accident whic-h resulted in the amputation of his right leg. " Since that time Mr. McCarthy has been in the hotel and restaurant business. Deceased was Insured in tho A. O. U. W. and leaves $2,000 to his wife and three children, who survive him. |
