Show CELEBRATE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI . The Feast of Corpus Christi, which occurred Thursday of last week, was celebrated in many of the churches with a solemn high mass. Special services were held at Holy Savior's church at Meaderville. A short parade with the most Blessed Sacrament Sacra-ment was made from the church. Owing Ow-ing to the bad 'condition 'of the streets the parade was not as Ions as was at first contemplated. Rev. Father Boschi carried the most Blessed Sacrament, and the canopy was held by four men of different nationality. Those who held the canopy were an Austrian, a Canadian, an Italian and an Irishman. Six little girls walked beside the priest, and held ribbons which were attached to the cover. About eight altar al-tar boys were also in line, and many-people many-people from all around the city. The parade lasted about fifteen minutes, min-utes, and during the walk the girls and boys sang pretty hymns. After concluding con-cluding their walk, a short service was j held in the church. Rev. Father Keatin'g, who has charge of Sacred Heart church during the absence ab-sence of Father Callaghan, received word that Father Callaghan had sailed from New York Saturday. Father Cal-lagtian Cal-lagtian said that he was enjoying his vacation immensely, but missed Butte a great deal. |
