Miss Caroline Doll and j i John Pfister were the sponsors, the little one being called Francis Joseph, s The members of the Altar society j will have a "cake sale" on Saturday. The sale begins early, and those do- f rating cakes are requested to send . them early. The sale will he held at s f the Eclipse grocery, f.4 East First ! J South street. 1 The members of the Cathedral choir I held the first rehearsal after the sum mer vacation last Monday evening, i 3STei rly all former members were pres- I. ent, and many new members. It is t hoped that all the former members will be present at the next rehearsal, he-, he-, cause no special invitation? were ex- I tended to any of the choir. All former i I members were expected Monday night, as the time and place was announced 1 'j in The Intermountain Catholic, and s Rev. Father Ryan also spoke of the 11 . choir at the last mass on Sunday. In j I consequence, special "invites" were not ! 5n order, and all former members are t expected next rehearsal, which will be I Friday, Oct. 4. I ; -t At the last mass on Sunday Rev. Father Ryan dwelt particu- : i larly on the harmony and good spirit manifested by the members. It is the j Intention of every member to make the Cathedral choir the best in the city this winter. Catholics oniy. and non -Catholics huv- V lng good voices and desirious to join a ! j . good choir, where only the best music ! will be studied, are invited to join, j !
