Show A WONDERFUL INSTRUMENT. , ! i. C. F. Stayner to Baynes Music Com- f pany. f Mossrs. Daynes Music Company, Salt s Lake City. Gentlemen: Feeling quite an inter- ? est in the. Pianola, I am glad to write 1 someWhing conceirning it, at your re- quest. I First let me say WELCOME PIAN- f OLA! I This instrument will certainly prove I to be one of extreme usefulness. I That people in general can, by means 1 of the Pianola, become familiar with almost the entire literature for piano, means much. Dove for the best in music mu-sic will surely be the outcome. Today the pianos which are used but little are probably greateT in numberf than those which are used much. The Pian-oila Pian-oila will reverse this, I think. The piano players who are filling homes with the best of music are few indeed. T'hej Pianola will change this, as it brings this accomplishment within with-in the reach of. we may say, all. The principle of tone production being correct cor-rect in the Pianola, the tone is, of course, good. Owing to the fact that the Pianola produces better and better, reeiults, according to the musical abil- ity of the performer, genuine mu'ic i study will increase. As the Pianola j requires so little mechanical ability." I the performer's attention can be given I to the study of rhe musiic itself. Taste j and judgment should, therefore, unfold i quickly if one is not already awake i musically. I A deeper interest in the playing of j gTeat pianists will naturally result. I ' C. F. STAYN-ER.
