Show TO SPEAK IN PARIS. Archbishop Ireland is to be the Fourth of July orator at Paris this year. A dispatch from that city says: It is said to be now settled that Archbishop Ireland will deliver the ded icatory address on the unveiling of tlu Lafayette 'monument on July 4. The address will be spoken in French. Ambassador Am-bassador Porter will act as president and the other American ambassadors j in Europe as vice presidents. Commissioner Commis-sioner General Peck will make the address ad-dress of presentation to France, and Frank .!. Thompson, secretary of the Lafayette monument committee to the exposition, will speak on aehalf of the school children. The monument will be unveiled -by forty-seven American girls, who will pull tri-colored ' cords simultaneuosly. |
