Show SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. McCornick entertained en-tertained at an informal dinner in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fitch. Covers were laid for ten. 4 Father Thomas Sherman and Father Donohuc of Chicago, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs O. J. Salisbury Salis-bury for two weeks, have returned to the East. 4 Kenneth C. Kerr, traveling passenger passen-ger agent of the Salt Lake Route, was confined to his home with illness last week. Mr. Kerr became ill while on a three weeks' trip into Colorado on business busi-ness for the road. The election of F. C. Schramm to the presidency of the State Pharnia- Iceutical association was a well deserved compliment to the ability and popularity popular-ity of that busy young man. j -4- I Mr. and MrsFred Wey and daugh-! daugh-! ter. Satur-! day evening for Los Angeles. ! 1 Miss Genevieve McCornick recently entertained at a theatre party, the guests being the Misses Fitch,. Miss Mary Moore, Walter Fitch and Albert McCornick. A lake party was given Friday evening even-ing in honor of Miss Mary Halloran, who is to leave shortly for school in the east. The decorations were pink and white. A mound of roses and sweet peas stood in the center of the table. The invited guests were the Misses La Blanche Snow, May Rand, Erma Brown, Ethel Allen, Nora Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Elsie McMillan, Florence Halloran. Hal-loran. Glen Silver, Irene Simmens, Ar-Hne Ar-Hne Johnston, and F. Folland, R. Mldg-ley, Mldg-ley, A. Cohn, C. Bintz, B. Grant, M. Read. Sid Beatty, S. Wright, Frank Root, R. Halloran, P. Davis. Halloran, Mrs. Snow and Mrs. Brown. 4 1 Mrs. Daniel Touhy of Butte, who has been the guest of Miss Mary tvirkpat-rick tvirkpat-rick at the Marshall home for some time, left for her home. 4 Mrs. James Deitrick has returned from a brief outing in Ogden canyon. Mrs. George J. Gibson has arrived form the east and will remain till af ter the wedding of her son, George Jay-Gibson. Jay-Gibson. She is at home at the Fifth East hotel. Mrs. Walter G. Filer is home from j Europe after a stay of some months. 4 Miss Stella Salisbury and Miss Kath-erine Kath-erine Judge departed for the Judge country place to spend the next week or so. 4 Miss May Konen returned to Butte Mont., after a week's visit with Mrs. P. J. Quillen. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. O'Meara returned re-turned on Tuesday from their wedding tour and are being warmly welcomed by a legion of friends. Miss Mabel Gregor was in Salt Lake last week on her way from Portland. Mis-s Gregor has gone to Caliente, w here she is a popular school teacher. 4 Mrs. Michael Kearns has returned from an extended visit to the Portland Port-land fair. She was accompanied home by her little niece, who will visit here until the holidays. Miss Edna Dunn will probably attend at-tend school in California the coming' 1 ear. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sullivan and family are comfortably located at 564 East Brieham ptreet. 1 4 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reilley and tlie children have returned from a pleasant visit in the canyon. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Moran are eoc-templating eoc-templating a tour of Europe in the near future. Miss Margery Mulvey is visiting i Miss Nissler in Butte and is being roy- ! ally entertained in that hospitable citv. j 4 Mr. and Mrs. John Daly, jr., are now" I located in their new home. Miss Mary Halloran will leave next week for St. Mary's academy, Notre Dame, Irid. Ruel Halloran will enter Notre Dame university about Sept. 15. 4-- Miss Mary McGinness of Boise is visiting vis-iting friends in the city. - 4 Miss Gertrude Dederich and her brother Anthony left last Wednesday I for Las Angeles, where they will at-! at-! tend school. -j - - ' -4- I C. M. Neuhausen has returned from i a trip to Denver, which he took in the interests of his business. Mrs. Mahoney of Anaconda, and her daughter Alice, will return to their j home on Sunday. Mrs. Mahoney has been seriously ill for the past ten ! days but is rapidly convalescing. 4 ; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Spencer are the happy parents of a fine son, now two j weeks old.
