Show LOCALS Bert Winward received word from his son, Dr. and Mrs. John D. Winwai'd of Salt Lake City of the birth of their third son on March 22. This is the twenty-ninth grandchild grand-child of Mr. Winward. Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Poage accompanied by Mrs. Elias M. Lar-sen Lar-sen of Whitney and Mrs. Struve motored to Salt Lake Friday to greet a new granddaughter which was born to Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Poage at the LDS hospital, March 15. Mother and baby are doing nicely. Mrs. Allen A. Taylor of Clearfield, Clear-field, Utah, is a house guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Malm berg. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Nash are spending a few days with their daughter, Mrs. Vendla Havertz, and children, at Salt Lake City. 9 Wm. J. Tanner and son. Billy Reed, left last week for Los Angeles An-geles with a shipment of fattened steers for the west coast market. Lamar Nash also accompanied a shipment of steers to the coast foi the Nash brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Lamoreaux and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Palmer accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lamoreaux of Downey to Salt Lake City for a three day visit during last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Corbridge returned last Thursday from a trip to the. west coast where they met their son, Dale, whoJ had been released re-leased from, the Northwestern States mission field. Mrs. Orlando Peterson, Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie Wallgren, Mrs. Coral Hollings-worth, Hollings-worth, and Mrs. Ena Monson accompanied ac-companied Mrs. Onetta Vernon of Pocatello to Salt Lake City Thursday. Thurs-day. Miss Kathryn Keller left Sunday for Salt Lake City where nre will enroll at the LDS Business college. col-lege. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Boetticher of Milrose, Mont., visited their son, and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.-Paul Mrs.-Paul Boetticher, during the past week-end. Mrs. Ira Taylor is visiting her daughter this week at Brigham City. Lieutenant Thomas Robinson accompanied ac-companied by Miss Judith Oswold of San Diego, Calif., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson, Robin-son, during a ten day leave from the naval air corps. Bill Hobbs is recovering from an emergency appendectomy at the Preston hospital. |
