Show u o HOME GUARD UNIT NEEDS FIFTY MEN Information has been received re-ceived that Franklin county is in line for a Home Guard unit, to be stationed at Preston. The unit to be manned by exser-vice exser-vice men and all others above the age of thirty who desire to volunteer their services for emergency guard work within the State of Idaho. It is anticipated an-ticipated that in the very near future that the adjutant general gener-al for the state of Idaho, will be in Preston to set this unit up, and In order to expedite the matter and get across section sec-tion of how many men are available for this service, it is requested that every one interested in-terested call at the office of the Chamber of Commerce and register h is 1 name as a prospective pros-pective member. This unit will be furnished with ammunition, rifles, and uniforms by the state of Idaho. In order to have the unit locited here, it is necessary that at least fifty be enrolled. o . . o |
