Show Indian Team Knocked Out Of Idaho State Class A Basketball Tournament In Semifinal Round After Whipping Sugar City, 30 - 26, In Quarterfinals Pocatello high school's sharp-shooting basketball team won the daho state Class A basketball tournament aturday night at Pocatello, defeating Lewiston 26-22. Lewiston's Bengals advanced to the finals at the expense of Preston's Indians, 46-28, in a semi-final game Friday afternoon. Lewiston had ' no trouble with the, timbertopping Preston Indians, tallest tournament team, and the big southerns were out of luck as they failed to penetrate scoring ground and made most of theii last-half shots from far out on the floor. Arnold, fiery little Bengal, peppered pep-pered the board for a total of 17 points, and with 10 by Sanders and eight by J. White, the northerners had something of a field day. Taylor, Tay-lor, Preston giant, and Crockett, made six each for the Indians. Lewiston clossed the first period ahead by 5-4, and ran away to a 17-9 halftime lead. The lead grew in the third period and Lewiston was more than safe with a two-to-one top of 31-17. Preston moved through the quarterfinal quar-terfinal round on a 30-26 triumph over Sugar City.
