Show Democrats Name Ticket Saturday The democrats of Sanpete county will name a legislative and county ticket at the convention which has been called to convene at Ephraim next Saturday morning. The convention conven-tion win be held at the opera house and the college city is making elaborate elab-orate plans to entertain the 11 delegates, del-egates, the candidates and many others who will be interested in the convention. Two state representatives, representa-tives, one county commissioner for the four-year term, one county commissioner com-missioner for the two-year term and a county attorney will be nominated at the convention. The apportionment of delegates foi the several precincts throughout the county is based on one delegate to each twenty-five votes cast for William Wil-liam H. King for United States senator sen-ator in 1922, and is as follows: Gunnison, 10; Centerfield, 6; Fayette, Fay-ette, 1; Chester, 1; Wales, 2; Freedom, Free-dom, 1; Ft. Green, 4; Moroni, 9; Ax-tell, Ax-tell, 2; Indianola, 1; Fairview, 12; Milburn, 1; Mt. Pleasant, 25; Spring City, 8; Ephraim, 16; Manti, 14; Sterling, Ster-ling, 2; Mayfield, 3. Primaries to select the several delegates del-egates have been called to meet in the several precincts through the county at 8 o'clock this evening. The Gunnison primary will be held at the City hall, according to the call issued by Precinct Chairman. J. A. Tuft. |
