Show TAILOR TAKES THE COUNT J. C. Peterson, senior member of the "Toggery," took the count in a battle with" E. Leotricity last Monday afternoon. The affair was not given giv-en any publicity until Mr. Peterson gave up and fell to the floor at which time he was rescued by his friends. The battle was pulled off in the basement base-ment of the Toggery and happened this way: Mr. Peterson had trouble with one of the electric lights and desiring de-siring to put on a new globe switched the current on as he entered the door leading to the basement. E. Lectri-city Lectri-city was laying for his game and the instant Peterson grabbed the socket to apply the new globe his. opponent got a grip that could not be released. Struggling with might and main Peterson could not free himself from the hold and with a yell he went to the floor and was down and out for several minutes. Friends rallied to his assistance and after a copious application ap-plication of aqua pura he was revived. reviv-ed. Mr. Peterson can give god advice ad-vice regarding the handling of electricity elec-tricity in the basement and on a damp floor. |
