Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barnhurst celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary an-niversary early (December 24 is the day). All their family were here. They had a Dutch oven dinner at the city park. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Darol Barnhurst, Elko, Nev.; the Del Barnhurst family, Ephraim; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Barnhurst, Vernal. Ver-nal. The Eric Bamhursts have 19 grandchildren. Visiting the Calvin Wilsons were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henderson, Hender-son, Orderville. Allen Huntington, Mr. and Mrs. Wes Huntington and Lowell Huntington Hunt-ington of Kanab and Stan Huntington Hunting-ton and Larry Toppin of Cedar City visited Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington Hunt-ington during the week. Effel Riggs went to the doctor ' in Cedar City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs took her over. Visiting May Sawyer during the week were Valeene Roberts, Antimony, Anti-mony, and Tracy Roberts, Cedar City. Tracy Roberts and May Sawyer went to Cedar City Sunday and brought Aimee Sawyer and Colter Sawyer back with them to stay a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Porter and Tiffany Yeager of Orem spent the weekend here with Francis Porter. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Dorothy Barney, Tiffany Yea-gar Yea-gar and Dale Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer went to Salt Lake City via Spring City to visit the Greg Hansens, then to Orem to visit Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley. Deloy Evans, Tommy Evans, Allen Evans, and Mark Evans, all of Hurricane visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans and helped celebrate Noreen's birthday Sunday. Visitors at the Garth Heaps during dur-ing the week were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Heap, Dallin Sawyer, and Rick Lunt, all Cedar City. Seventy Jerome Asay Jr. family "members met at Duck Creek for their reunion. They visited relics from Hatch, Asay and Hillsdale are , on display. The Hatch ambulance responded to Orlan Frchner's home where Dave Bell had been bucked off a horse. They examined him and since he was just bruised he dcclind to go to the doctor. Answering the call were Emergency Medical Technicians Tech-nicians Janell Young, Dorothy Barney and May Sawyer. Ardis Evans, May Sawyer, Aimcc Sawyer, and Colter Sawyer entertained the extended care patients pa-tients with songs and readings at the Garfield Memorial Hospital on Monday. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans last week were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Larscn, Seattle, Wash. Eric Sawyer, Whitney Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Sawyer, Panguitch, Pan-guitch, visited May Sawyer. |
