Show Tropic, Topics Ella Adair The Ray Littlefields have returned home after spending three weeks in St. George. Jay Littlefield spent the weekend in Tropic with his family. .-1 The Arnold Adalrs were on a short tour to Arizona and Nevada. ' The Lady Lions will have their annual Sweetheart dinner tonight at Foster's Steak House. Flora LeFevre has a new great grandson, born to Dr. and Mrs. Jon Moody, Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar LeFevre. are the proud grandparents. Margaret Mecham is home after having hip surgery. Ella Adair attended a Garfield County Council on Aging meeting in Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. MonDell Syrett are attending a National Rural Electric Association meeting in New Orleans. Ivan Clarke and Tori McAllister were at the Lester Clarke home. Pauline Pollock was home from Brigham Young University for a weekend visit with her parents. Wanda Shakespear had surgery in a Provo hospital. The Evan Chynoweth family has moved to Kanab. We will miss them in our community. The Kennedy family will live in their home in Tropic. Next Sunday a special satellite program on scouting will be shown in the Tropic church cultural hall. KayLynn Shakespear, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shakespear was given her name and blessing in church. Jan Fullmer was ordained a priest in church. His grandparents from Idaho were in Troipc to visit with their grandchildren and to extend birthday greetings to Nellie Rae Mecham. Several Tropic people attended funeral services in Escalante for LaFaye Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. Kim Alvey visited with the Royal Alveys. Dennis Wintch visited his parents, the Dean Wintchs. Kathleen Pollock was home from St. George for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Haas took their children to Richfield to the or thodontist. The Reed LeFevres had daughter Sandra Madson home for a visit. Paul Mangum spent a few days in St. George with his brother Ward. He brought his mother LuElla Mangum home. TruievAllen spent a few days in . , Panguitch with son Lynn and family." The Alston Shakespeare had relatives from Plain City visit with them. The LaMar Shakespeare were in town at Ora Brinkcrhoffs and Kevin Shakespeare. Word was received of the death on Jan. 28 of Vee Ray Adair, 47, in Salt Lake City. A nephew of the Arnold Adairs, he spent his youth in Tropic where he attended school and lived with the Adairs. He is survived by two sons, two daughters, his mother and two sisters. |
