Show Batch Happenings In sacrament meeting Darol Allred, Beth Allred and Dolores Allred were welcomed as new members of the Hatch LDS Ward. Reva Lowder was sustained as nursery class leader. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans visited in Hurricane with the Deloy Evans where they attended their grandson Tommy's eleventh birthday party. They accompanied Tommy and his parents to a special Cub Scout program where Tommy was honored with the "Arrow of Light" and where he also graduated from the Cub Scouts. Attending temple sessions in St. George were Darol Allred, E. F. Turek, Lamar Barney and Gary Fagg. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred received word of a new granddaughter. She arrived at the Beaver hospital to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Houston. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and sMrs. Dee Houston, Panguitch. Great grandmother is Velma Huntington. Darol Allred, Dolores Allred and Joseph Allred went to Beaver to visit the Fred Houstons and get acquainted with the new baby. Grandma Beth Allred was unable to visit them. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder were weekend visitors in Minersville with the Larry Baileys. Enroute home they stopped in Beaver to visit the Fred Houstons and the new baby. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap were the Wallace Heaps, the Brian Grafs, Shera Lyn Heap and Lloyd LeFevre, Cedar City. Vic Gordon, Calif, visited his family during the week. When he left to return to his job in his family accompanied him as far as Las Vegas where they visited relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington received word of a new grandson. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ron Huntington, Kanab. On Sunday Wiley and Lucille visited the Stanley Huntingtons in Cedar City and attended baptismal cervices for their granddaughter Angela. |
