Show AREA OBITUARIES Harry Price JUNCTION Harrison "Harry" Price, 87, Junction, died Feb. 21, 1985, in Junction. He was born July 6, 1897, Junction, to Eugene Walter and Sarah Melissa Davis Price. He married Verda DeMille, Oct. 3, 1918, St. George. She died Jan. 16, 1975. He was a fanner, miner, trapper and carpenter and resided his entire life in Junction. Survivors: sons, daughter, Harrison DeMille, Guy Eugene, both Junction; Mrs. Keith (Beverly) Brown, Koosharem; 16 grandchildren; great-granddaughter; brother, William Calvin, Junction. Funeral services were Monday in the Circleville First Ward chapel with Bishop Alan Maynes, officiating. Guy E. Price offered the family prayer and Branda Robinson played prelude and postlude music. DeMille Price gave the invocation. Speakers were Beverly Brown, Chad Price, Owen Sanders and remarks by Bishop Maynes. Music Included vocal duet by Kathy and Michelle DeLeeuw; vocal solo, Mitchell Price; vocal solo, Rexine Eager and vocal trio, Terecea Wcstwood, Charleen Dal ton and Kim Dalton. Melvin Price offered the benediction. Interment was in the Junction Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and ESC AL ANTE Funeral services for Shirley Jean Spencer were held .Friday in the Escalante Ward chapel with Bishop Gerald R. Johnson, officiating. LaVern Griffin offered the family prayer and Areola Gates played prelude and postlude music. Theron O. Mitchell offered the invocation. Speaker was Hellen Shurtz with remarks by Bishop Johnson. Music included selection by a ladies trio composed of Marlene Haws, Deon Alvey and Geraldine Liston; vocal solo by Usher Spencer; vocal solo by Kenny Goulding and vocal duet by Lynn Griffin and Delane Griffin. Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Keith Brown offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Glendon Brown, Brandon Price, Mark Price, Mitchell Price, Chad Price and Chris Watts. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Price, Paul Price, Robert Price, Dale Brown and Frank Brown. Harry Price Shirley Jean Spencer Glen Wilson offered the benediction. Interment was in the Escalante Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Don Coleman offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Ross Woolsey, Kenny Goulding, Brad Spencer, Weldon Porter, Elden Griffin and Brent Spencer. Honorary pallbearers were Marion V. Spencer, Garret Owen Spencer, Harold Spencer, Deanielle Vlrj Smith, LaVern Grifif n, Jason Verge Spencer, Robert G. Burson, Harlan Smith, Jenifer Spencer, Gene Sudweeks and Hal Spencer; Taylor Howes CIRCLEVILLE John Taylor Howes, 70, Circleville, died Feb. 2, 1985, at his home. He was born Oct. 17, 1914,' Junction, to William and Sophia Mathis Howes, Jr. He married Florence-Norma Johnson, April 19, 1934, Kingston; later solemnized in the Mantl IDS Temple. She died Nov. 27, 1976. He married Vivian Ap-plegate Peterson, March 27,. 1977, Circleville. He had been employed by the Union Pacific Railroad and Ken-necott Copper mines in Ely, Nev.; operated his own farm and the Junction Store and was retired postmaster, He graduated from Marysvale High School. Survivors: wife, Circleville; sons, daughters, John Gerald, Cedar City; Roger William, Hinckley; Mrs. David (Fontella) Hunt, Roosevelt; Mrs,. Russell (Shirley) Lee, Ogden; Mrs. Leonard (DeLyle) Allsup, Beaver; stepsons, stepdaughters, Lester J. Peterson, Mountain Home, Ida.; Phillip Peterson, Mrs. Natalie Griffin, Mrs. Jay (Priscilla) Em-pey, all St. George; Owen M. Peterson, Huntington; Trent Peterson, West Valley City; Neil H. Peterson, Richfield; Gerald D. Peterson, Ft. Sill Okla.; Mrs. Que (Mildred) Brown, Sigurd; Mrs. John M. (Judy) Henrie, Panguitch; 29 - grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; six step-greatgrandchildren; brother, sister, Arnold L., Austin; Mrs. Fred (Ellen) Laird, Junction; foster brother, foster sister, Glen L. Howes, Monroe; Mrs. Reed (LaNeava) Monson, Las Vegas. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Circleville First Ward chapel where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Junction Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
