Show ' 7 Batch Happenings Velma Huntington 735-4231 Speakers In sacrament meeting were stake leaders, Kelly Holman and Mervin Barnhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans took Noreen Evans and Velma Huntington to the Fredonia Second Ward Sacrament meeting Sunday, where they heard the Halifax, Canada Mission report of Elder Clayton Evans son of Mr. and' Mrs. Doug Evans. The Jesse and LUlth Wilson family reunion was held this week at their property in Wilson Canyon. All but two of their 13 children and their families were there. The Russell Wilsons, Delta; Virginia Wilson, Salt Lake City; The Lloyd Wilsons, Danville, Calif; the Mel Wilkes, Boise, Ida.; the Ferrill Lazenbys, Norman, Okla.; the Lyle Da vies, Centerville; the Richard Wilsons and the Karl Wilsons, St. George; the Robert Wilsons, Ivins, the Scott Poulsens; Riverton and the Kent Wilsons, Parowaa Mr. and Mrs. Leland Rlggs took Eric Saxon and Effel Riggs to Las Vegas, where they attended baptismal services for Karri Saxon and Eric Saxon. Visiting the Calvin Wlsons were the Edward Wilsons, Segulne, Tex. enroute to Provo to take daughter Kathy Wilson to attend Brigham Young University. Other visitors .were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Henderson, Ordcrville; Martha Lane, Charlotte Lane, Cort Lane and Vernon Lane, Page Arli. Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Goulding, Ilenrieville took Theora Heap and Mel Barnhurst to Salt Lake City to meet Mel's son Mark Barnhurst and his family. Vic Gordon brought his family home from Burbank, Calif, where they have been for the summer. Then Vic returned to his work In Burbank. Ada Nordell, Washington City visited Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek. Gary Fagg returned home after attending several weeks of schooling In Springfield, 111. VisiUng the Faggs were the Delten Campbells, Salt Lake City. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowden took Karleta Riggs, and children, Panguitch; Mary Beth Bailey, Mlndy Bailey and Velma Huntington to Gredonla to the wedding of their granddaughter Vaelyn Sawyer and Brent Mackelprang. They also attended the reception. Verda Sawyer and the LaVal Sawyers also attended the wedding and reception, Verda Sawyer stayed to visit several days. The Jeff Rheers, Page and Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Josie, Panguitch visited the LaVal Sawyers and accompanied them to Fredonia to the wedding and reception. Noreen Evans took her mother Sessie Clark to Hurricane Friday to visit the Deloy Evans. The Kenneth Barneys, Clearfield are visiting the Lamar Barney. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Sawyer were the Kent Sawyers and the Kurt Sawyers, Cedar City; the Ken Roberts and Mrs. Garth Roberts, Antimony, and Mary Com pew. Buster Evans left Friday to go to Salt Lake City to visit his family. Pamela Stubbs, Janlece Stubbs and Tyler Stubbs, Parowan visited Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton, then accompanied them and the Bruce Dalton family Panguitch to Posey Lake near Escalante for a Saturday picnic with Bruce who was working there. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder visited overnight In Minersville with the Larry Baileys, they attended a cookout for the baileys' employees. Karl did the cooking for them. Gayla Syphus took hope Dalton to Richfield with her. They stopped in Panguitch and picked up Bonnie Dalton, Brett Dalton and Emily Dalton. The Deloy Evans, Hurricane visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans. f Visiting Effel Rlggs were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Burpees, Blanding. They took her to visit the cemetary in Georgetown. The LaMar Barneys, Janett Young, Susan Young and Danny Young, met Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duckett, Hall's Crossing on Boulder Mountain for a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. Harris Sharp, Mammoth Creek visited her daughter, Lynn and husband Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cardozo, Burnet, Tex. The Cardozos have been here . the past few weeks and have now . returned home. fj |
