Show fiREfl OBITUARIES Archie Alexander PANGUITCH Archie Alexander, 76, died Aug. IS, 1085 at his home in Panguitch. He was born Jan. 13, 1909 in Panguitch to Thomas Murphy and Rosella Matilda Bell Alexander. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the LDS Church. ' Alexander was a lifelong resident of Panguitch. He served as water master on the Long Canal and Tebbs Ditch. He was also in the lumber Industry, where he worked as a timber cutter. Survivors: Sister and brother, Mrs. Reta A. Egbert and D.E. Alexander, both of Provo. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Aug. 19 in the Panguitch 1st Ward LDS Church, with Bishop Robert Gardner officiating. Compassionate services were provided by Panguitch 1st Ward RpHo' SocMy. Family prayer was offered by Maitland Spencer, invocation by Martin Nay, benediction by Kendall Brinkerhoff. Musical selections by Panguitch Tri-Ward Choir, V. Bruhn, and Pam Yardley offered prelude and postlude music. Speaker were Jay Proctor and Vee Worthen, a tribute by Jim Yardley and remarks by Bishop Garden Pallbearers were Ben Alexander, Tom Alexander, Earl Alexander, Emil Norton, Doug Jensen and George Proctor. Grand nephews were honorary pallbearers. Nieces and grand nieces were flower girls. The grave was dedicated by Archie "D" Alexander. Burial with military rites by American Legion Panguitch Post No. 25 was In the Panguitch City Cemetery under the direction of the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. Don H. Judd PANGUITCH Don Hatch Judd, 71, died Aug. 20 at his home in Panguitch. He was born April 14, 1914 in Panguitch to Harry and Hazel Hatch Judd. He was married March 20, 1945 to Lucille Parker, later divorced. He was a barber. Survivors: son Harry Lewis Judd, West Valley City; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Darla Jean) Black, Evanston, Wyo.; and Mrs. Arthur (Ruby Jane) Talbert, Pueblo, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchildren; brother Cecil) Salt Lake City; sisters, Mrs. Ted (Mary) Perkins, Panguitch; Mrs. Wayne (Curtie) Rlggs, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Keith (Nellie) Warren, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Vera (Julia) Laird, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 23, 1985 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch 3rd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. |
