Show Taylor-Lyman Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Taylor Boulder Jimmy Taylor and Ethel Lyman were married Saturday, August 10 at the east end of Boulder in a picturesque rural setting. The new bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Johnson and Kirk Lyman and her Husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Taylor. For her wedding, the bride wore a tiered flopr-length gown of white with a long veil attached to her hat. Members pf the wedding party wore a rainbow of pastel colors, including the.maid of honor, Lynette Johnson, who wore yellow; bridesmaids Janalee Spencer attired in peach, Melanie Lyman in pink, Rita Perkins in pale blue, and Julie Taylor in lavender. Flower girls were nieces Heather Spencer in peach, Laurie Dodds in Lavender, Randi Dodds in pale blue, Jamie Taylor in pink, and Janelle Taylor in orchid. Fathers, Kirk Lyman, Arden Taylor and Lynn Johnson wore pale blue tuxedos as did the groomemen, Sam Spencer, Steve Blakey, Jerry Taylor, Dean Gledhill and Emmorn Dodds. Complementing the color scheme were mothers Meavonn Taylor and Julie Johnson who wore pale blue three piece suits, Following the ceremony, the wedding party met at the Escalante Community Center for a buffet dinner. A reception to honor the newly married pair was held following the dinner at the home of the parents of the bridegroom in Escalante, catered by Beth Coleman of Richfield. Photography was done compliments of Peter Engel, a professional photographer from Orem and the nine layer wedding cake, baked and decorated by Lillian Coleman, was topped with a blown glass ornament to add to the beauty of the occasion.
