Show Boulder News LeNora LeFevre Commissioner Dell LeFevre met with Governor Scott Matheson at the State Capitol to discuss plans for the new town of Ticaboo near Bull Frog. He also met with the Forest Service on the proposed wilderness projects. Dell's wife Gladys and the baby accompanied him to Salt Lake City where she visited with her sister Marilyn Artz and other family members. Emma Jane Hansen was pleased when her sister Louella Tyron and aunt May Adams spent a weekend visiting before returning home. Cecil and Alice Alvey went to Notam after some tomatoes. Max and Veda Behunin went to the Dixie Roundup held in St. George. Judges of election were ldona Haws, Dorothy Lyman, and Elaine Koundy Mac and LeNora LeFevre attended the LeFevre Reunion held at the Scout House and picnic grounds. About fifty family members were present and all had a wonderful time. Laura Preston is attending Tech School at Provo where she is taking a business course. Larene Meisenbach is at the BYU. Jim Clark, art teacher in Garfield County sponsored an art class at Calf Creek Park Kathy Gesseg was there from Boulder and two bus loads of art students came from the other towns to enjoy this outdoor class. Peggy Meisenbach and daughter Amy were in Cedar City on business. High councilmen, Roy Chlarson, Mike Ferron and Stanley Mecham all of Tropic were the speakers in sacrament meeting. Idona Haws was sustained as Relief Society secretary, Nina Moosman visiting teacher leader, LeNora LeFevre as home making teacher, Golda Haws as spiritual living teacher , Dee Hardy was sustained ' as Cub Scout leader Thirty eight Relief Society sisters attended the fireside meeting at the chapel to listen to prophet Spencer W. Kimball and the other special speakers. |
