Show Benrieville One of Champ Moores students from Weber College and his father-inlaw visited with Champ and Ruby Moore. On Sunday Champ left for Ogden to resume his teaching position at Weber College. Brad and Berthene Griffin and Shelley Barney went to Salt Lake City for more shingles for Berth en es home. nioltro I lilt r viuitw4 her mother Eda Quilter over the weekend. Verla and Lorma Rose went to the Dixie Roundup at St. George with some of her folks. Suzanne Willis visited at the Oscar Willis home. Vickie Shakes pear was home from BYU at Provo over the weekend. Iris and Elmo Bushnell received word of the arrival of their first great grandchild. A little girl born to Debbie and Jim Miller Layton, Melba and Ed Smith vacationed in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and to the Ice Follies at Salt Lake City. They visited in Heber City with Minnie and Tom Smith at Daryl and Dee Shumways. Also Cecil and Omer Reid. Gwen and Gordon Hartley at Springville. The Hartleys and Smiths attended the Ice Follies together. Melba Smith spent the day with her mother Mildred Deuel at the Garfield Memorial Hospital. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Lynn Gates, Chase Shurtz and lunn Willie urhn WOTO t T HI! , I I1IIU n - representing the Stake High Council. Visiting at the home of Layton and Melba Smith were JoAnn Smith, Rett and Christine Shakespear, Stephanie, Michelle and Toni from Cedar City and Clark and Mary Grace Houston from St. George. Dave, Delpha, Jeanne, Loreli, and Daniel Rose, Ken and Artoise Piatt and children, Clifford and Collette Matthews went to Salt lake City for the state fair where Jeanne, Loreil, Artoise and Collette represented Garfield County at the quartet competition. Ken also met his brother at the airport as he arrived back from an LDS mission. |
