Sam had a frightening experience last week ; he was driving near the school when the little Zufelt boy came out of the ditch right in front of his car which hit him. but he was not seriously injured. Montel and Lee Jordan of Las Vegas brought Erma Gates home after being gone over two weehs nulling diuuiiu Nevada, California and southern Utah. Johnny and Jan Tumblety and friend, Thelma Thornton. Susan Baughman and baby came in a separate car. Erma reported a new granddaughter born to Kay and Kathy in Vernal, they named her Karen. They took her to church but she evidently did not like that type of gathering. James and Millie Mclnelly went to Rich field and came home with grandson Jeremy for a week. James lost a log chain from his equipment somewhere between his home and the Ethyl Pollock home, he would appreciate getting it back if some one picked it up. The town was shocked by the suddtn death of Basil Sisk who passed away suddenly of a heart attack. He was at home. Freda Sisk spent some time in the Beaver hospital. Marlene Haws went to Provo to attend postal meetings. Her parents, Starns and Fon Merham went along for the ride Margean Coleman and Dick Schow plunged Into the turbulent sea of matrimony and will live in Salt Lake City where they have a new home A testimonial was held for Wade Beebe who is going on an LDS mission to New Zealand Talks were given by his parents, Ron and Sharee, his sisters, Shelia and Nancy, Wade and Myron Cottam The sisters played a piano and organ duet, Nancy and Joy Griffin sang accompanied by Areola Gates Mr and Mrs Ted Wood of Bountiful were here and he gave the invocation.
