HATCH City Manager Panguitch-Hatch Chamber of Commerce Thursday, April 28, 1977 Hp 1 ' TmKf Wm 1 RICK BURNINGHAM - president Panguitch-Hatch Chamber of Commerce The best way to let people know that Panguitch and Hatch, Utah are not just two spots on the map but thriving communities is to get an active Chamber of Commerce organized. You do not have to be in business to oe members of the Chamber of Commerce, the only requirement is that you really care about the economic and cultural growth of the community. Everyone is invited and even encouraged to join the commerce, dues are only $10 per business or family. A group of active people can accomplish more than one or two individuals. Each person has great ideas to help with the growth of these communities, let's work together for this puropse. The meetings are the places to et these ideas rolling. The places to discuss, plan and vote for activities to benefit our area. Each person has the right to voice their opinions, each the right to vote on important matters connected with our communities. Once these votes have been taken, even if you may have had other ideas, let's work together as a whole body with the same goal of building our communities. As president of the Chamber of Commerce, I hope that the Chamber of Commerce and Panguitch and Hatch governing bodies can work together towards better communities for everyone to live and in letting everyone know about our great area. I am pleased to be associated with the Panguitch-Hatch Chamber of Commerce and feel this area has a lot to offer those living here and also those planning a vacation. Hatch is just a short walk to a great fishing stream, Sevier River, a Jaunt to good hunting and close to some of the most beautiful scenic and recreational areas in the state of Utah. I would like to encourage people to do as much of their shopping as they can do in our communities as a percentage of the sales tax will come back to help us build the community in which we live. I am happy to see Panguitch and Hatch work together to make this a better place in which to live and a fantastic place for tourists. $ KarlLowder, Town Presidpnt -.r' Kjmfc. .
