Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder 7JJ-4J03 Mr. and Mrs. Vic Gordon and daughter, Neola visited the Layton Barneys and to let them get acquainted with their new baby girl. Helping Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wilton celebrate their 4th wedding anrivcraary Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wilson and children, Parowan; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Wilson and children, St. George; Carolyn Wilson, Provo and Virginia Wilson, Salt Lake City. They received phone calls and cards from the rest of their family. Many friends and relatives gathered at the Hatch Cemetery for graveside services for L. Doyle Workman, Sunset. His funeral was in Sunset and the viewing and prayer for the family was held In the Glendale Chapel. Mrs. Julia Turek was In the Garfield Memorial Hospital a few days then the doctors sent her by ambulance to Salt Lake City to St. Mark's hospital for further treatment. Ed accompanied his wife. Visiting the David and the Nile Sawyers were the Dunk Findlays, Kanab; Mrs. Ken Roberts and children and Mrs. Lynn Savage and children, Antimony. Kurt Sawyer, Cedar City was home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans visited In St. George during the weekend with the Clark Evans family. Friday Mrs. Evans visited in Orderville with her mother Sessie Clark. The Bert Barnhursts, Cedar City visited his mother, Maggie Barnhurst. The primary presented a lovely program "Every Member a Missionary," in church. Stake primary president, Mrs. Kerry Nelson attended the meeting and Mr. Nelson accompanied her. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Evans and children, Las Vegas are here visiting his folks, the Sam Evans. Shannon Clark and children, Kanab, Faun Chlldres, Auburn, Calif, and the Wayne Stubbs, Parowan visited the Grant Daltons. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder and Velma Huntington went to St. George, Karl to attend a mayors meeting and banquet and the women visited Gam Huntington and Melodie Russell. Visitors at the Oliver Hun-tingtons were Ileta Dix, Roberta Barabas and girls, Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bailey, MinersviUe and-Karleta and Rebecca Riggs and Cherie Crosby, Panguitch visited the Karl Lowders. Mrs. Joanne Sawyer, Cedar City visited the Garth Heaps. The LaVal Sawyers went to Cedar City and moved daughter Nicole home. Arnold and Verda Sawyer were happy to visit with her brothers and sisters and families that were in Panguitch for Blair Woodards funeral. Those visiting the Sawyers were the Dean Richmonds and the Lannon Barneys, Granger; Olive Woodard and family, Shirley Webb and family, Salt Lake City; the Hartley Bar- neys, Magna and the Ivan Barneys, Richfield. Arnold and Verda visited Thursday in Richfield with the Ivan Barneys and in Kanab with the Vay Sawyers. Proud grandparents from here are the Karl Lowders, the Arnold Sawyers and great-grandparents, the Oliver Huntingtons received word that the Vay Sawyers and two daughters had competed in various things in Cedar City recently. Verene won first place In the 8-80 track meet and also 3rd place In the mile relay. Varlyn composed a skit and won excellent on it in the drama competition. The Leslie Footes, Granger visited her folks the Orlas Rlggs. Lowell and Elizabeth Huntington, Kanab visited the Wiley Huntingtons during the week. several days last week in the Garfield Memorial Hospital. She is able to be at her son, Chris Quglers to recuperate. Visiting the Quigleys over the weekend were Buster, Roma, Faye and Duke Evans and Jean Hardy, Salt Lake City. They also visited at her folks while here. |
