Show 1 Garfield USU Students on Honor Roll Three students from Garfield County achieved the honor roll for winter quarter at the Utah State University. In order to be included on the honor roll, a student must be enrolled for IS hours or more and have a grade point average of 3.S or better (4.0 is straight A). Students on the honor roll Include: ANTIMONY Bruce L King, majoring in agriculture; HATCH Del W. Bamhurst majoring in natural resources; PANGUITCH-Jana Gillies, majoring in humanities, arts and social sciences. BYU 18 ap Two students from Panguitch are among the 2,361 students who received diplomas at the 102nd Commencement April 22, 1977 at Brigham Young Un-vierslty in Provo. These graduates, in addition to the 1,032 who received degrees in December, brought the total for the school year to 3,393. Mr. and Mrs. Hoard (Patricia) Foy both received their bachelors degree at a service which was held in the Marriott Center. They are moving to Ponca City, Okla. Mr. Foy is a chemical engineer and will be working with the Continental Oil Company there. |
