Show Farewell Social to T. H. Edwards and Family I The Palace hall was the scene ' of a very pleasant gathering on Tuesday evening of this week ' when tho citizens of Garland turned out en inasso to pay their respects to Supt. Thales H. Ed-1 wards and family who left Wednesday Wed-nesday to make their future a- j bode in Spanish Fork whtro Mr. ! Edwards Is tho now superintendent superinten-dent of the Spanish Fork factory of the Utah-Idaho Sugar Com-pany. Com-pany. The hall was crowded with friends of tho family and the dunce and social was a very successful affair. Mr. Edwards and family were early pioneers 1iero and their going away Is a I Bourco of regret to their many friends and associates. Dancing was indulged In up to 10 o'clock, when tho following program was carried out under the dlrcctou of Master of Ceremonies, Cere-monies, Vernon M. Tho dance concluded soon after tho midnight hour and thuB ended a very pleasant social afflr. |
