They shared a musical lifetime together, including 20 years in the Salt Lake Oratorio Society. He pre- ceded her in death May 27, 1975 g dedication to the her Church and community service included four years as Kinder- garlen teacher in the Ogden City Schools. She fulfilled many as- signments in the M l A , Primary and Relief Society of the Churdt of Jesus Christ of Latter-DaSaints. She served as a member of the General Board of the Relief and was a Society from Chairman of the Membership for the Relief Building Program Society Centennial n 1942. She was also a member of the Gener- al Deseret Industries Committee of the LDS Church. She was a member of the Women's State Legislative Council of Utah, act- ing as Chairman of the Educat tonal Committee, and was Vice President. She was called to organize the Volunteer Auxiliary (known as the Pink Ladies) of the Salt Lake LDS Hospital, and became the Founding Director of that organization. This assignment led to setting up auxiliaries in all the hospitals in Utah, and some in Idaho and Wyoming. She was later appointed the Utah Stale Advisor, and ultimately, to the National Council of Volunteer Auxiliaries of the American Hospital Association. Always a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by two sons, Robert 6. Barker, Dr. Allan H. Barker, both Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; she is eight also survived bv a brother, Field ing B. Barlow, Logan. Utah; and a sister. Mrs. Chester (Dorothy) Hockett, Lakeoort. Calif.
