This time one of romance and enchantment an Arabian night so to , speak. with book by Charles Lederer and Kismet, Luther Davis, based on a play by Edward Knoblock, has become popular mainly because of its score by Robert Wright and George Forrest, from the melodies of Alexander Borodin. First produced at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York in December, 1853, the music, including Stranger in And This Is My Beloved and Baubles, Paradise, Bangles and Beads, has become known throughout the world. Ethel Martin, who danced in the original production under the choreography of Jack Cole, is guest director for the PMT presentation Kismet in Los She recently choreographed Angeles, starring Rhonda Fleming and performed the same duties in 11)75 at Wolftrap, outside Washington D C. Ms. Martin has assisted the choreography of many Broadway musicals and has done extensive work in A television. For films, she Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with her husband George Martin. Robert Peterson, recently returned from a summer starring in the Jones Beach production of Show Boat heads the Kismet cast at PMT. Others include Anne Rowe, Craig Stephenson, H.E.D. Redford and Pat Petersen. Guest dancers from California include Diane Ball, Aulaiu, Buddy Bryan and Jen Sparkman. James Prigmore is musical director. Ronald Crosby is set designer with costumes by Amanda Brown and lighting by Peter Willardson.
