Show October 27, 1998 - Emery County Progress Business Review Emery County Nursing Home sets standard in health care Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Center is located at 455 West Mill Road, in Ferron Utah. We have been setting a standard in health care since 1968 by providing the finest quality care to residents in the area. We are proud to be owned by Emery County. The detailed commitment, and dedication the community provides empowers us to provide the finest qualify of live that is not only needed, but expected. This empowerment allows us to achieve our Mission Statement which is: Our mission is to assure that all who are entrusted to our care will be treated with the compassion and respect befitting their dignity as human beings. Emery County Care and Rehabili- tation Center employees nearly 80 competent employees who ensure each resident is given a quality life. This is achieved through the services rendered by nursing, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, activities, maintenance, support groups, social services, and administration, working together to ensure the resident and the atmosphere they live in is priority one. Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Center, formally known as Emery County Nursing Home, is committed to adapting to the changing needs of the Health Care Industry. As a Rehabilitative Care Center, we arc proud to offer extended services such as respite, hospice care, and therapy services. We are confident that we will continue to acknowledge and address the growing needs of the communities surrounding us. The opening of our new wing is one example of just how we are addressing the advancement in Health Care. With this new expansion, we have added ten new beds, an expanded physical therapy department, and activity room. In all, we have increased the number of licensed beds to 55. The resident living space is comfortable and resembles a home like atmosphere. We believe these additions will accommodate more of our communities needs. We are happy to have such a magnificent addition to our business. It has really enhanced our facility and the variety of services we provide. Come and meet our caring staff, and beautiful building on Friday November 13, 1998 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Center hosts a Harvest Open House. Just part of the 80 employees of the Emery County Nursing Home in Ferron were able to gather for this group picture.
