Show Emery County Progress Castle Dale Utah Tuesday October 27 1998 5B 50th Anniversary Wedding Michelle Leonhardt Matthew Elison Mr. and Mrs. LaVar E Leonhardt , of Fen on are pleased to announce the marriage of then daughter, Michelle, to Matthew Elison. son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Elison of Idaho F alls, on Oct. 24, in the Logan Temple. Michelle graduated with honors from Emei High School where she was also involved with music and drama. She enjoyed participating in pageants and served her schools and communities as the SRJH FFA Sweetheart 1995, El IS FFASweetheart 1997, Ferron Citys Miss Peach Days 1997, and Miss Emery County 1998 She is the sole owner of Michelles Quilts and Accessories and is currently enrolled at New Horizons Beauty College in Logan. Matthew graduated with honors from Idaho Falls High School where he was involved m athletics and student government He served a two year mission m the Spain Bilbao Mission and is currently attending Utah State University majoring in biology. After graduation from USU he will enter medical school to study orthopedics . Eagle Scouts , Bob and Annie Judd On Oct 30, 1948 Bob Judd and Annie Richards were mat ried m her home m Salt Lake City In honoi of the 50th Wedding Anniversary' of Bob and Annie, their children will hold an open house at the Cattle Dale Stake Center in Castle Dale for all their friends and family to share this special occasion with them on Oct 31, from 4 to 6pm No gifts please Boy Scouts make commitment AcMcventeaite Rebecca Fail Becca successfully completed the goals she had set to achieve her Young Womanhood Recognition Medallion Bishop Royd Ilatt presented it to her in Sacrament Meeting, Sept. 20 She read with elementary age school children, and made quilts for several elderly ladies at the Nursing Home in Ferron, and Turnquist Retreat in Elmo, to complete the requirements for her medallion Her parents are Brad and Kalynn Fail of Green River. Her grandparents are David and Pat Behling of Ferron, and Emd F ail of Price Tracy L Druce Joe Fail Tracy Leonard Druce, son of Leonard and Susan Druce and brother of Melodee Druce and Daniel Kinsman, will receive his Eagle after having completed all his requirements in scout- Joe completed all requirements necessary to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout He has been active in the scouting program in Green River since his eighth birthday, First as a Cub Scout then as a Boy Scout. He appreciates the many Scout Masters, leaders, friends and family members that helped him achieve this goal. For his eagle project, he built a set of portable bleachers for the City of Green River, to be used at the baseball fields in ing. Tracy is a senior at Emery High School with a special interest in music, he plays six instruments It is his dream after college and going on a mission to become a pilot for a commercial airline Tracys Court of Honor will be Oct 31 at 11 am in the Huntington at the Stake Building on 11 E. 200 N, in the Relief Society Room T racy and his family appreciates everyone who has been a part of T racy becommgan Eagle Brian ONeil Bnan ONeil is featured in the Whos Who Among American High School Students for school year. This is the 1 99 the second year he has had this honor He is currently working in Price for the Sellers Group from Salt Lake. He has been employed there for four years and recently put in charge of a crew. He also won an award for the most creative and useful invention for the company. Brian is an Eagle Scout. He enjoys hunting and fishing and the outdoors He is the son of Randy and Lon O'Neil of Ferron. 8 towm Joe is a Junior at Green River High School His parents are Brad and Kalynn Fail His grandparents are David and Pat Behling and Enid Fail Scout Lapidary and Silversmithing classes will be taught from 6 to 9 p m on Thursday evenings at Emery High School. The classes will start this week on Oct. 29 and run to Jan 14. If you are interested, please leave your name and phone number with the high school secretary as soon as possible. High school credit is also available for this class.
