The awards program was initiated last year when the Arts Council of Central Utah presented medals to Dr. J. Roman Andrus and Dr. Ralph ' Woodward. Dr. Bradshaw emceed the program, attended by nearly 100 persons. Dr. Andrus presented a summary of development in Utah Valley of the various arts music, art, drama, dance, literature, etc. To perpetuate the heritage of those who have pioneered in arts in this area is the challenge that faces those of the present generation, Dr. Andrus concluded.
