Moss, today commended Rep. Laurence J. for his declared Burton, intention to press for action on three Utah National Park bills. The bills would add acreage to Canyonlands National Park and would change to national park National Arches Monument and Capitol Reef National Monument. , The three bills authoredby have been passed Sen. Moss by the Senate. Rep. Burton has authored three similar bills on which the House Interior Committee has held hearings. And Burton has announced his intention to urge committee approval, which would clear the way for House passage of the three. "I commend Congressman Burton for his prompt, perceptive action in urging the House Interior Committee to meet to complete the legislative process on this legislation which is of such significance to Utah," Moss said. "Mr. Burton and I are in basic agreement on the provisions of the bills and on the need for action on them this year," the senator continued. "I can assure him of complete cooperation from the Senate side." status Moss said that, where differences do exist between the provisions of hta bills and those of Congressman Burton, "these can be resolved promptly." The senator noted that final action this year is important because all bills not passed before Congress adjourns must be reintroduced and go through the entire legislative process. Warren Magnuson, in urging fuller utilization of the Toy Safety Art by the Food and Drug 3-D- In a news release over the weekend, HEW officials said they were planning to publish a proposal in the Nov. 17 federal register outlining their implementation of the act.
